We love Educare Academy! Our daughter always resisted going to daycare every morning. It was very stressful. Since enrolling her in Educare Academy she can't wait to go and play with her friends each day.

Thanks to Miss Anita and Miss Jackie for taking such great care of our precious son. I don't know what I would do without them! Thanks Educare Academy for all you do!

I want to give recognition to 2 of your locations. First, the team at Jackman Ave is just absolutely superb. I had never had my son in daycare & didn't know where to start. Emily helped me so much & was just beyond helpful. I couldn't work full time until I had daycare & I couldn't get daycare subsidy until I had secured a safe place for my son. Emily did everything to help me get pre-approved so I could begin work without worry. I am new to Toledo & she was one of the first people to be helpful. I am a single mom with no family & I struggle a lot. Recently my son & I were wrongfully evicted with nowhere to go. I had begun working a second job & needed to work longer hours a few days a week. I found out that the Starr Ave location had later hours & began taking Mason there on the days I worked later. The day I found out we would be homeless I got Mason dressed & knew he would be safe at daycare while I packed & tried to work out a place for us to lay our heads that night. When I got to the daycare I realized he didn't have clean cups or bottles. I asked the ladies if they could do me a favor & wash his bottles, that we had a rough night. When they asked me what's wrong I broke down having to say we were homeless out loud. They immediately started hugging & comforting me. They had me go to the directors office to sit down & take a breath. This is when I met Lauri. She immediately became very concerned about me & my son because I was not in good shape. She took me to feed me because I had not eaten in over a day. She sat down & started making some calls to help me get resources. Val happened to be there & said they would get me a motel room for the night so we would have a safe place that night. I couldn't believe the outpouring of generosity from these lovely women. They definitely picked me back up from when I had fallen. I ended up being able to get my son & I into a homeless shelter. I know he is safe when he is under Emily & Lauri's care. What wonderful ladies you have running these 2 centers. I felt like a failure as a mother that day & Lauri put together a care package of snacks for us at the shelter. She also gave my son a pair of shoes. I can not begin to tell you what this help & comfort did for my soul. Such compassion for their job is special & unheard of these days. Hats off to both staffs for being amazing women empowering moms when they need it.

-Sincerely, Melissa
